This morning we left the hotel for a “short” walk around Paris. We started at the Les Invalides dome – Napoleon’s grave. Next to the dome is the Musee de L’armee originally a hospital build by Napoleon for the soldiers.
Then we climbed up to the Cite de L’architecture – Palace de Chaillot. This is the place where Hitler is pictured (and filmed) in front of the eiffel tower.
Then it was time for our 12:30 visit to the Eiffel. Many of us went up to the top and some joined me climbing the stairs back down to the ground level.
Even this person came to check out the eiffel tower back in 1889. Do you know who this is?
The next few pictures are for people that like structures (like I do)
There are even some “zero force” members in the Eiffel Tower.
We then took a boat ride up the Seine River from the Eiffel tower past Notre Dame and then back to the eiffel tower.
We even went under the famous bridge named after our famous Calvin Professor “NN” 🙂
After this, the students had some free time to explore Paris.
All is well!
au revoir et bonne nuit!
